Limitations:
It is impossible to guarantee that the colours of large format prints
will match previously printed work due to changes in materials and processes.
If your requirements will include future updates of single panels within
a set, We suggest you create a design which does not rely on a panel
to panel colour match. I.E use a contrasting colour.
We request that you use the best quality originals and scanning facilities
for large format work, And carefully check your scans for dust and scratches
as they will show up quite clearly on the final print. If a third party
(your printer's/ Designer's) have created an image for you, and you don't
hold the image we are happy to liase with them on your behalf.
Size, Imposition And Bleed:
If you are supplying colour images (such a photo's) they should be saved
at a resolution of 600Dpi or higher.
If for example you intend to use an image that is originally 5cm x 10cm
at 300Dpi (Approximately credit card size) and you want it at 50cm x
100cm for a poster or sign,You should recreate the image as a new document
which is 50cm x 100cm at 600Dpi (Poster size). Using lower resolutions
will result in your expanded document being pixelated giving a poor result
of the image.
Please do not manually add you own crop marks unless already agreed.
If your artwork requires a bleed (If it stands off the edge of your page)
you must allow at least 3mm, We also recommend that any text is kept
at least 3mm away from the edge of the page.
